Family Offices are by their very nature highly personal.  Each has at its heart the needs of individuals together with each family as a group. To understand these requirements and to ensure that you benefit fully from our services, our method of working is divided into the following elements:

Planning

Our initial discussions aim to gain as full an understanding as possible of your particular family - who is involved, where your live, what tax implications there may be and in what way the services we offer can be of benefit. We welcome the opportunity to meet with other advisers to the Family to build a cohesive team to work together for common aims.

Implementation

Following these discussions, we will appoint a dedicated relationship manager who will be your primary point of contact. He or she will be a long-serving member of the Group who will ensure efficient, accurate and speedy service and will liaise on your behalf with the specialist technical teams within the Group, including, fiduciary, fund administration, and investments. We encourage regular face-to-face meetings at our offices, or elsewhere to keep up-to-date with your requirements.

Reporting

Financial reporting requirements are unique to each individual situation. During our initial discussions we will design a reporting environment that works for you and can evolve with your future requirements.

Education and sharing of knowledge

Our role as a key adviser to many families allows us to build a nucleus of information, both practical and technical, on structures, investment asset classes, administration and governance issues. We are committed to provide you with access to this knowledge on a regular basis where we feel this would add value.

Fees

Fees will be tailored to your requirements and can be calculated and charged in a var iety of ways, based on valuation, fixed, or ‘time spent’. A detailed proposal will be agreed at the outset of the relationship, reviewed annually and changed only with the agreement of both parties.
